Civil 3D 2020.2 has been released by Autodesk. For this post, I do not have a lot of little features to write about. In fact, this may be one of my shortest ever regarding new features. So, with that said, this update release for Civil 3D focuses on the following two things:
- Collaboration for Civil with BIM 360
- Roadway Design Standards Update
For the first one feature, projects will be able to be shared and viewed up in the cloud in BIM 360. This will include workflows for Data Shortcuts as well.
For the Roadway Design Standards update, Civil 3D will now have AASHTO 2018 standards in it, where previously, the 2011 standards were the most current version.
So, like I said, that’s about it for the features, but keep in mind that there are fixes that come with this update as well.
